SS 209 – Disclosure of personal information in the event of data breach
This bill would require City agencies to disclose to affected persons any personal information that has been accessed, disclosed or otherwise compromised in the event of a security breach. It would also require these agencies to promptly notify the Chief Privacy Officer and Office of Cyber Command.
SS 210 – Providing notice of student loan forgiveness programs
This legislation would require City agencies to provide notice of federal and state student loan forgiveness programs to employees and job applicants. It would also require the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection to make this information available to private employers who hire City employees.
SS 212 – Requiring food delivery services to be licensed by the Department of Business Affairs
This law would require restaurants and other businesses that offer food delivery to obtain a license from the Department of Business Affairs in order to operate within the City. The Department of Business Affairs would review each application and issue a license to those who qualify.
SS 213 – Requiring third party food delivery service to register with the Department of Health
This legislation would require third-party food delivery services to register with the Department of Health in order to be licensed to operate in the City. The Department of Health would review each registration and if necessary, issue a permit to each company.
